Thoughtful Details That Make You Feel Right at Home

At Pasture House Holiday Cottages, we believe it's the little things that make a big difference. Nestled in the peaceful East Yorkshire countryside, our cottages are not only a place to rest your head – they’re a place to feel truly welcomed and looked after.

From the moment our guests arrive, we want them to know they’re somewhere special. That’s why we take great care in adding thoughtful touches that help turn a great stay into a memorable one.

A Warm Yorkshire Welcome

Every guest is greeted with a complimentary welcome hamper, carefully curated with a selection of locally sourced treats. From fresh milk and farm eggs to artisan jams and Yorkshire crisps, it’s a small gesture that sets the tone for your stay – relaxed, indulgent, and full of home comforts

Homemade Baking, Just for You
There’s something deeply comforting about walking into a cottage filled with the aroma of home baking. Whether it’s a batch of homemade scones, cookies, or a seasonal sponge cake, we love to surprise our guests with something freshly baked.

Fresh Flowers, Fresh Feel
Each cottage is adorned with a vase of fresh local flowers – handpicked and arranged with care. It’s a simple touch, but one that brings a sense of freshness, beauty and seasonality into your home-from-home.

These little extras might not be expected – but they’re certainly appreciated. Our returning guests often tell us that it’s these thoughtful gestures that bring them back time and time again.

If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside retreat where the details matter and the welcome is warm, we’d love to invite you to experience the charm of Pasture House and The Stables.

Book your stay and enjoy a truly special getaway – where the little things are never overlooked.

March marks the gentle shift from winter to spring, bringing lighter days, fresh countryside views, and a renewed sense of energy. It’s a quieter, often overlooked month for a break — which makes it especially appealing for guests who enjoy calm surroundings and unhurried exploring. A stay at Pasture House Holiday Cottages, just outside Beverley, offers the perfect base for enjoying East Yorkshire as it begins to wake up for spring. Longer Days and a Fresh Feel to the Countryside One of the most noticeable changes in March is the return of longer daylight hours. Mornings feel brighter, evenings stretch out, and time outdoors becomes more inviting. The countryside around Beverley starts to show early signs of spring, with fresh greenery and the first hints of seasonal colour. It’s an ideal time for gentle walks and relaxed days out without the intensity of peak season.
